Startup City Hamburg takes you to Slush - Europe's most founder-focused conference
Slush is one of the most significant international networking events for tech startups and scaleups and will take place in Helsinki in November 2026. The conference connects startups with investors, media, and policymakers and features multiple stages for inspiring talks, pitches, and discussions.
This year, we are pleased to support seven Hamburg-based startups, offering them the opportunity to experience Slush firsthand and further develop their businesses. Startups interested in joining us on a trip to Helsinki are invited to apply.
The program provides access to international investors, media visibility, mentoring opportunities, and fresh perspectives. Benefits include a conference ticket for one startup representative, a cooperation contribution of €500, and participation in the German joint presence as part of “Startup‑Champs Germany.”
Eligible startups must be headquartered in Hamburg (commercial register entry required), be no more than 10 years old, and demonstrate a clear product‑market fit. Travel and accommodation are to be booked and organized independently by the participants.
Startup City Hamburg, a project of IFB Innovationsstarter GmbH funded by the Hamburg Ministry for Economic Affairs and Innovation, supports the selected startups with matchmaking before and during the event. Selected startups will be notified by email by 12 June 2026.
