About this Survey
Agriculture shapes our culture and landscapes, with natural functions playing a vital role in maintaining a healthy environment. Human well-being depends on fertile soils, clean water, and stable natural cycles—collectively known as 'ecosystem services'—which are central to conservation and agri-environmental policies.
The ECO-OLIVES research project is a collaboration between the Universities of Vienna (Austria), Sant’ Anna Pisa (Italy), and Würzburg (Germany), along with international partners and olive cultivation stakeholders. It aims to explore and strengthen the connections between biodiversity, ecosystem services, and productivity in olive groves. Both scientific insights and practical knowledge are crucial to achieving this goal.
To gather diverse perspectives and better understand the challenges and opportunities, we developed this questionnaire in collaboration with our partners. Your experiences in olive cultivation are key to translating scientific findings into effective land use practices and policies.
We invite you to share your insights by participating in this survey, which will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Your participation is voluntary, and you may stop the survey at any time. Please read the questions carefully before beginning and respond as honestly as possible.
Your anonymity will be preserved in all cases. The responses you provide in this survey will be handled confidentially in accordance with EU data protection laws. No personal data such as IP addresses, names, or email addresses will be collected or stored. The data collected will be used exclusively for scientific purposes and will be deleted after the analysis is completed. Since the survey is anonymous, individual rights related to data access, rectification, and deletion are inherently protected.
Thank you for your time and contribution.
Yours sincerely,
The ECO-OLIVES Team
