For weeks, maybe months (who knows?), all possible efforts are being made worldwide to slow down the corona spread (it can no longer be prevented, see literature tips in the appendix), partly by raising enormous financial means and regardless of all possible collateral damage. On the other hand, other causes of death and threats that are at least as dangerous (keyword: overpopulation, progressive destruction of our natural resources...) are at best perceived, but only occasionally (mostly by private individuals or NGOs) addressed. Why?
