International Survey on Rare Disease Anesthesia
Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to take part in an international OrphanAnesthesia survey on improving anesthesia care for patients with rare diseases. Since its initiation in 2005 by the Scientific Working Group for Pediatric Anesthesia of the German Society of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care Medicine (DGAI), OrphanAnesthesia has aimed to develop and publish practical anesthesia recommendations specifically tailored for patients with rare diseases.
With this survey, we seek to better understand the awareness, use, and future potential of the OrphanAnesthesia platform among anesthesiologists worldwide. Your insights and experiences are invaluable: they will help improve existing recommendations, identify knowledge gaps, and ultimately strengthen patient safety.
Completing the questionnaire will take only about 5-10 minutes. Every single response contributes to building a more reliable knowledge base and fostering global collaboration.
Please take a moment to participate – and feel free to encourage your colleagues to do the same. Together, we can ensure that patients with rare diseases receive the safest possible perioperative care.
The OrphanAnesthesia team sincerely thanks you for your support.
