Voice Recognition in a Clinical Setting

Consumerization and use of Digital tools in daily life have raised one’s expectation of how medical devices could be operated to make us more efficient. Use of natural language processing apps like Siri, Alexa and OK Google are examples of how our lives have changed from manual tasks such as typing to speaking/voice commands.

We are exploring the use of voice recognition (including voice to text and voice commands)  in conjunction with ultrasound systems and would appreciate your help in identifying opportunities to help enhance your clinical practice.
