Welcome to the survey for determining workshop capacities in Europe.
This survey is taking place within the framework of the DACFIT project of VPI European Rail Service GmbH (VERS) and DBCargo AG in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute.
By participating in this survey, you agree to the use of the collected data for the purpose of analysing workshop capacities in Europe and the integration of these data into a simulation for determining the optimal fleet-wide DAC migration. This will allow various scenarios to be tested and evaluated in order to plan a smooth DAC migration for all European railway freight traffic. The data will not be shared with third parties or used for other purposes. The data will be aggregated by region and anonymised so that no information about individual workshops can be identified based on the published results.
This survey is directed towards all rail vehicle workshops.
- Workshops that work exclusively on freight wagons only need to answer questions 1-10.
- Workshops that work on locomotives or other traction vehicles should answer all questions in the survey.
If your company has an additional workshop location, please fill out the survey once for each location. Please also pass the survey on to your additional location if it has not also received an invitation to participate in the survey from us.
