I hope this finds you healthy and well in these challenging, pandemic times.
After a Covid-19 induced break, we would like to take up our annual RIS3 survey effort to better understand insights, needs and challenges encountered by national and regional authorities.
This year, our survey focuses not only on the disruptions caused by the pandemic itself but also, more generally, on the potentially challenging task of fulfilling the "enabling conditions" as required to see new or revised smart specialisation strategies approved.
In short, we would like to hear your voice on what role smart specialisation could play in the future and subsequently convey key insights to the European Commission.
The survey takes about 20-30 minutes to complete.
As every year, we would much appreciate if you could devote some of your time to informing the European Commission's RIS3 effort and thus contribute to making it more effective and aware of local contexts.
