This survey aims to assess the current implementation, organisation, barriers, training needs, and procedural practice of endohepatology across Europe. The survey is designed as a two-phase instrument: a short core survey for all participating centres, followed by procedure-specific advanced modules only for respondents who personally perform endohepatology procedures.
For this survey, endohepatology refers to diagnostic and therapeutic EUS-guided or advanced endoscopic procedures relevant to liver disease and portal hypertension, including EUS-guided liver biopsy, EUS-guided portal pressure gradient measurement, EUS-guided vascular assessment/access, and EUS-guided variceal or vascular therapy.
